Hello HYHCC,
Thank you for posting on Intel Community.
I would like to provide you with some details regarding your query.
Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) is a reliability term used to provide the amount of failures per million hours for a product. This is the most common inquiry about a product’s life span, and is important in the decision-making process of the end user.
Intel does not make MTBF information available for Xeon® Processors. Processors are not repairable products. Instead, Intel makes FIT information available but only to customers with Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place.
Failure In Time (FIT) reports the number of expected failures per one billion hours of operation for a device. Intel uses FIT to document reliability of use. FIT can be used to convert to MTBF. you can use these below details,
The formula is as follows: MTBF = 1,000,000,000 x 1/FIT
For example, if the FIT value is 2,500, the result is 400,000.
And the Intel Production Release Qualification Report document also known as PRQ holds the processor FIT data. PRQ reports are only available to customers with NDA.
Please let us you have Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with intel?
Regards,
Vikas
