Intel(R) Gigabit ET Quad Port Server Adapter NIC Teaming

I have a Intel(R) Gigabit ET Quad Port Server Adapter that I NIC Teamed on our SQL Servers. What would be the best load balancing option? Currently, I am using Adaptive Load Balance. Do I need to set the primary and secondary NIC? I want the NIC's to load balance without one NIC being the only one processing. What settings would that be?
