Raid Adapter RSP3TD160F

Hi, I bought a Raid Adapter RSP3TD160F and I tried to install it, but I got this message: "AVAGO MegaRAID SAS-MFI BIOS"

"Version 7.02.03.0 (Build May 24, 2017)"

"Copyright(c) 2017 AVAGO Technologies"

"No MegaRAID Adapter Instaled"

Please to see attached picture!

First, I installed on motherboard EPC602D8A (Asrock) on Debian 10 OS.

Second, on motherboard C266WS (Asrock) on Debian 10 OS.

Third, on motherboard H370M PRO4 (Asrock) on Windows 10 OS.

I got the same message 3 times: "No MegaRAID Adapter Instaled" .

Somebody can help me to fix the problem?

This is not an Intel raid adapter and not an Intel server board. Have you contacted asrock and/or avago?

I was reviewing the information provided and this is an Intel® RAID Adapter RSP3TD160F.

However, our Intel RAID adapters are meant to be mainly used in an Intel Server Board or Server System.

• Did you already confirm the compatibility of the RAID Controller with the Asrock Motherboards?
• Did you have the BIOS Version of the Asrock motherboards up to date?
• Did you already contact Asrock's support in order to verify this implementation?
• Have you used an Intel RAID Controller into these Asrock Motherboards previously?

I will be waiting for your outcome in order to proceed with the next step.

Hi Thank you very much to answer my! I contacted Asrock today, by e-mail and now I wait for their answer. That can take a while... I'll try to call them but, my I'm from Montreal Canada and their location is California, so 3 hour between us.. I'll keep you posted! Thank you again!!!

Hi again, Can you tell me what is the difference between a Raid Controller and a Raid adapter? Because I saw on you website both name.
