At a remote location we have a server with an S1200BTL server board. Server OS is Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard. We are using a PCI Renesas USB 3.0 card. I think StarTek is the brand. A 1 TB external hard drive is connected to the card which is used as part of a Symantec backup. The drive periodically goes offline and we need someone onsite to disconnect then reconnect the drive so it can go online. It's been happening more frequently. As far we we can tell, we have the most current drivers. Is there a particular reason why the drive would go offline? Please let me know if you need any more information.
