S3420GPV/GPLC, RAID and staggered spinup

I'm considering a S3420GPV or S3420GPLC for my server.

The 3420 chipset supports staggered spinup, do the boards support staggered spinup? Are there any settings for staggered spinup in the bios?

The S3420GPLC supports both Embedded Server RAID and Matrix Storage Raid.

What´s the difference?

How do I create an RAID-array for Matrix Storage Raid? Bios settings?
