Have an old ML750 with 8 Xenon 32 bit processors. Want to plug in upgrade processors to 64 bits so I can use newer MS server OS.
Possible?
Thanks
Robert

Hi tultalk,
Thank you for posting in Intel Ethernet Communities.
Regarding the product you mentioned, we would like to confirm if you are referring to Intel Pentium III Xeon (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/27570/intel-pentium-iii-xeon-processor-800-mhz-256k-cache-133-mhz-fsb/specifications.html) and ML750 - is it HPE ML750 (https://support.hpe.com/connect/s/product?language=en_US&kmpmoid=254949&tab=driversAndSoftware)?
As with all good things, the product you are referring to (Intel Pentium III) has reached the end of its interactive technical support life. However, you can find Intel Pentium III recommendations by other users at Intel Community forums and additional information at the Discontinued Products website. It is our pleasure to continue to serve you with the next generation of Intel innovation at Intel.com.
Also, you may contact the OEM HPE Support regarding this as they may have more information regarding this.
Since we unable to provide much assistance for this issue, we will proceed with closing this case at our end.
Thank you for using Intel products and services.
Regards,
Sazzy_Intel
