Web console doesn't see raid

i have a windows 2008 64bit machine running on a S5000PAL with embedded RAID - two drives configured in Raid 1

one drive went south and i replaced... the message was "will be rebuilt in the OS"

problem is that i can't verify that it WAS rebuilt.

Web console doesn't see the raid (yes, i turned off the Firewall) - it does see the 2 Windows 2003 raids on the network NONE of the 2008s

and web console is the latest version downloaded from Intel.com

Any help would be appreciated.

It's a long shot, but check which network connection you're using on the 2008 machine - http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/CS-028365.htm Server Products — Only the highest number Ethernet port is used for RAID remote management
