intel-oneapi-neural-compressor Debian/Ubuntu package problems

We have a bunch of machines where the intel-oneapi-neural-compressor package keeps getting reinstalled ever time the systems check for updates.

We are pulling the packages from the repo: https://apt.repos.intel.com/oneapi

# dpkg -l intel-oneapi-neural-compressor
..snip..
ii intel-oneapi-neural-compressor 2.1.0-48866 amd64 Intel® Neural Compressor
# apt-cache policy intel-oneapi-neural-compressor
intel-oneapi-neural-compressor:
  Installed: 2.1.0-48866
  Candidate: 2.1.0-48866
  Version table:
     ...snip..
# apt-get -s upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done

..snip..
Use 'apt autoremove' to remove them.
The following packages have been kept back:
  distro-info-data gnome-remote-desktop
The following packages will be upgraded:
  intel-oneapi-neural-compressor
1 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 2 not upgraded.
Inst intel-oneapi-neural-compressor [2.1.0-48866] (2.1.0-48866 Intel oneAPI Debian Repo:all [amd64])
Conf intel-oneapi-neural-compressor (2.1.0-48866 Intel oneAPI Debian Repo:all [amd64])

The installation process return code is 0 so it's not like an error is causing a failed/partial install.

Anybody else seeing this?

Yes. This continues to be an issue on all our machines. I've disabled OneAPI package updates to prevent the constant re-installing of the package.

I have the same problem: Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS

Kernel 5.19.0-432-generic

As you see below, it wants to upgrade 2.1.0-48866 to same version 2.1.0-48866 and keeps doing that every sudo apt update && sudo apt ugrade

sudo apt list --upgradable -a
