licensing of "intel Compiler c++" in oneapi repository

Hello,

I was directed here from support to ask for clarification about licensing of the intel compiler c++ / icc provided with the oneapi-hpckit docker image

is it free to use? are there restrictions?

there is an evaluation eula inside the container, does that mean it is free for test use? what about non-test usage?

this question applies both to the present beta status and to a future production release of the toolkit

Kind Regards,

M

Hi,

Our team has confirmed that "Intel compiler c++ / icc provided with the oneapi-hpckit" is free to use.

However, we recommend not to use the beta version of the toolkit if you are using for any production release / Commercial purpose. Instead, we suggest you wait for the Gold(Stable) release.

Have a Good day!

Thanks & Regards

Goutham
