GCC compatbility

Hi,

We are using the tbb2017 Update 5 and would like to know what is the binary compatibility for versions provided under gcc4.1 gcc4.4 and gcc4.7 along with what glibc versions they shall be used. Are they Linux OS specific?

I'm not sure if I understood your question. The following link provides you the compatibility of TBB with gcc: https://www.threadingbuildingblocks.org/system-requirements

For each supported Linux* operating system, the standard gcc version provided with that operating system is supported, including gcc 4.1 through 4.8.2
