ACUConfig.exe problems (flash write limit exceeded)

Hi everyone,

I am having a problem configuring a test machine using the ACUConfig.exe. The current command line parameters that I am using to configure this device with the executable is working fine with other machines (making this a client side issue).

In the below output, notice the following: AMT Status code - Flash write limit exceeded. (0xc000428e)

Does this mean that the flash memory on the chipset can no longer be written to? This has been a test machine, so has been configured/unconfigured numerous times.

I am hoping this is not the case, seeing as how this would render all vPro functionality unuseable.

Thanks for any input!

I am using a Lenovo T410s with AMT 6 on it. Running MEInfoWin.exe gives me the following:

It is possible the MEBx or AMT chip is failing but is hard to tell.

I'd suggest entering the MEBx (crtl + I) and reset the whole AMT configuration and try again. It will be good idea to clear the CMOS out to perform a full reset of the CMOS but I don't know if your laptop can do it.
