DELL Systems mgt and VPro

Hi Terry, how are you, long time.

If you are deploing Altiris with DELL system management http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/op755/en/AMT/index.htm do you still need the OOB mgt option and VPro Toolkit option with in Notification server.

If you want to utilize Intel vPro functionality - yes. Specifically - Out-of-Band Management (OOBM), Real Time Console Infrastructure (RTCI), and Real-Time Systems Manager (RTSM). OOBM and RTCI come standard... as far as I know. RTSM has a cost associated

DCM 2.x is based on Altiris 6.x - thus version 6.x of OOBM, RTCI, and RTSM

DCM 3.x is based on Altiris 7.x - thus version 7.x of OOBM, RTCI, and RTSM
