Data migration problem to 535 SSD

I am attempting to clone my 256GB drive to a new Intel 535 series SSD. I am running windows 10. I have done this a few times before – but not on a windows 10 platform – and this time I am having problems. The data migration software loads OK. It can see both drives. But when I get to the step where I select the destination drive – I can see it but it is grayed out and I cannot select it. I had a thought the problem might be that the software isn't windows 10 compatible – but what do I know?
