Hi,

We are facing a customer with static IP infrustructure, i know that AMT required the different hostname and IP if we use static IP. But i wander that Is that possible to let AMT 5.0 use the same hostname and IP with OS when provisoned it as SMB and static IP mode? Does enterprise mode support static IP?

thanks very much.

Jennifer,

For details on provisioning models, please see this wiki document by Michele Gartner:

/docs/DOC-1684 http://communities.intel.com/openport/docs/DOC-1684

I can't speak intelligently to provisioning using the basic (formerly SMB) model, but the Standard and Advanced provisioning models both require DHCP.

I am actually dealing with a similar situation, where some of my systems have static IP addresses, so I will not be able to provision them using the Advanced model with ConfigMgr.
