I am experiencing an issue trying to install Intel Manageability Commander version 2.0.345 on PCs with the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Console installed. The installer doesn't give the option to install the SCCM console extension. It seems to be a problem with the logic of the MSI.
We have previously used the Intel Manageability Commander version 1.0.8 and that installer still works and adds the extension to the latest version of the SCCM console 1810, however it doesn't support AMT version 12 clients.
Has anyone had any luck getting this to work? The was previously discussed in https://forums.intel.com/s/question/0D70P000006ANr3SAG without any posted solution.
Thanks
Phill

Thanks Jose.
That does work, however please note that most people using SCCM in a production environment don't run the SCCM console from the site server.

Hi Jose,
Are there any plans to release a version that works on stand alone consoles?
Thanks

Hi Jose,
I meant was there going to be an updated version that corrects the issue preventing the SCCM console extension from being installed on stand-alone consoles. This would then reflect what is in the user guide "Selecting the Microsoft* SCCM Console Extension will install Intel® Manageability Commander on the local system, and will add the right-click context menus into the SCCM console. This extension can be installed anywhere that the SCCM console is installed to enable Intel® Manageability Commander to launch directly from SCCM."
Right now the workaround is to install the Intel Manageability Commander on the SCCM Site server using your instructions (i.e. from an administrative command prompt) and then manually copy the two vbs files ( sccmExt-Device-LaunchIMC.vbs and sccmExt-Devices-PowerOn.vbs) and xml files (sccmExt-Device-LaunchIMC.xml and sccmExt-Devices-PowerOn.xml) to the standalone consoles.

Hello PKent1,
We will proceed to mark this thread as resolved since we don't have and ETA for this software release. If you have further issues or questions just go ahead and create a new topic.
