Lenovo Thunderbolt 4 docking station vPro passthrough on Alder Lake-P

Sir,

I have an Alder Lake-P machine with 2 Thunderbolt4 ports and I have a Lenovo Thunderbolt4 docking station that support vPro passthrough. is there any configuration I need to make vPro work on the lan port on docking station? Ex: connect to the Intel AMT webgui http://<ip>:16992/ from another machine in the same subnet? I am able to connect to the webgui from localhost only, but I need to access it outside the box. Please help.

Thanks and regards,

Ted

Hello, Ted,

It is necessary to install and configure Intel® EMA on a server and install the EMA agent file into the endpoint.  There are third-party software alternatives (such as open-source MeshCommander).  They will help you provision the endpoint and access it remotely from the same LAN or external (dedicated Certificate for Intel® AMT) if necessary.
