SCCM SCS Add-on Discovery

I am trying to install SCS Add-on for Microsoft SCCM, only with Platform Discovery. The installation guide and the installation refers to platformdiscovery.exe.

From this link http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/software/setup-configuration-software.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/software/setup-configuration-software.html I find this option refering to platform:

When downloading and extracting this file, I get the SCSDiscovery.exe file.

Skim reading SCS installation guide, suggest this is two different files.

When I download and extract this file https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25776/Intel-SCS-Platform-Discovery-Utility Download Intel® SCS Platform Discovery Utility I see the PlatformDiscovery.exe

In any case, it's probably best to hold off on provisioning any AMT machines for now until new firmwares are released.

I read your post and understand that when you clicked on the "Intel SCS Platform Discovery Utility" it downloaded the SCSDiscovery.exe file. I duplicated your steps and when I clicked on:

I downloaded

The URL SHOULD point to:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25776/Intel-SCS-Platform-Discovery-Utility https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25776/Intel-SCS-Platform-Discovery-Utility

Maybe try clearing the cache on your browser or try an alternate browser? Hover over the link and see if it points to the above link.

Works fine today, so either I did something stupid or it was cache as you said. Thanks

And the reason for starting this, is the newly disclosed vulnerability.
