Skylake Core i5 6500 and Asus Z170M-Plus motherboard - USB install advice needed

Just finished building a new PC and I want to install Windows 7 from a USB 3 memory stick.

So far I haven't managed to get the stick seen on the new machine.

I note that there's some sort of support for a Braswell platform CPU but I can't find anything similar for my hardware.

Advice would be much appreciated.
