USB auto provisoning on HP Elite 8200

Hi,

After the usb auto provisionig on HP Elite 8200 shows the message:

USB Key Local Provisoning Either file records are invalid,

corrupt, or Consumed. Build a new provisioning file and retry. "

Nevertheless, the device is properly configured by the SCCM.

Any ideas why this happens?

Hi,

Are you saying that machine is already provisined by SCCM? if so, you won't be able to provision it again using USB key.

Usually, if you have SCCM in place, the provision is made by agent, please read this http://www.intel.com/en_US/Assets/PDF/general/cg_MicrosoftConfigMgr_vPro.pdf documentation, if it is the case.

Best Regards!

Hi, we have 8200 Elite SFF Pc's as well and I'm having hte same issue. After I provision a PC with the USB key then I attempt to provision the next PC it gives me this error.

"USB Key Local Provisioning file records are either invalid or consumed. Please build a new provisioning file or retry."

I wouldn't expect a provision key to be one time use?

Brian,

This behavior is expected if you are using a consumable key. However you can create a usb that is not consumable, see usbfile.exe that can be find in https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CDUQFjAA&url=http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/download-the-latest-intel-amt-software-development-kit-sdk/&ei=Gc6UT52NELTbiAK7udkx&usg=AFQjCNHStQb_Z86cZA9vxmTarQtECCXQMg Intel AMT SDK. Use the parameter "-consume 0" while creating the setup.bin file as showed.

Best Regards!
