We are unable to remote provision a Dell Precision Mobile 5510 via Wi-Fi. We get the following error below (in bold). Note: this model does not have an on board LAN adapter. How can we fix this?

Hmm,

As I answered you in other discussion it is not possible to configure LAN less devices straight from Intel RCS using Remote Configuration method.

Intel RCS attempts to connect to Intel AMT on its IP address but as it is Intel WiFi interface which is not yet enabled at AMT FW level - it will get not response.

See my other response - for Admin Control mode use 3 stage approach :

  1. configure Intel AMT via USB or Manualy via MEBx.
  2. Use Host Based config with WiFi connection enabled

    -OR-

Your current DNS network suffix (as set in DHCP Option 15) included in Home Domains List AND Network Configuration > WiFi Connection configured with "Allow WiFi connection without WiFi Setups"

Intel AMT will use OS level WiFi Connection setup as long as OS works. (remember to use /AdminPassword mailto:MEBxP@ssw0r > as ACUConfig parameter!)
  3. Reconfigure Intel AMT from RCS adding /AdminPassword mailto:MEBxP@ssw0r as configured with Host Based Configuration in HBC AMT profile> as ACUConfig parameter!)

Intel RCS can change current AMT Digest Administrator password set by Host Based (so visible in AMT profile XML File) to new one stored securely on Intel RCS Pasword (it can add also AD integration and TLS encryption as well).
