my monitor has gone haywire

my monitor has gone haywire, constantly flashing "auto adjust proceeding, am not able to use OSM, 82945G in windows xp, any and all qualified help would be appreciated, i'm going blind, screen moves left and right constantly...........

Can you tell us your motherboard model. Also, can you elaborate a bit more on this as to what exactly did you do last to get this behavior of monitor & what is the model of your monitor?

hello, i finally got someone to help, thank you for answering, i have an intel pentium iv and the monitor is a nec AccuSync LCD73V. the on-screen manager is is locked out mode and i can't unlock it, it is supposed to be very easy, but for some reason, i can't get it to work, i tried to use the factory pre-set button, but that didn't work either, i believe this is a very simple problem, but then i never can grasp simple, please help..........
