Unable to establish KVM session with (MBEx 6.0.0.1179) vPro Enabled Probook 6450. I have enabled ME set password and configure provisioning = none.

Now I am able to browse vPro enabled machine by http://pcname:portnumber and mange power state. But unable to connect to said machine by VNC Viewer 4 or Plus version. I have also tried to connect it by KVM 1.0.0.0; I've attached error screen shots, please advise in this regard.

(Note: There is no KVM option menu in MEBx)

(Intel Management and Security Status in taskbar (Win7) is showing Intel AMT = Enable , Intel RPAT =Disable)

Is your system using the Intel integrated graphics? I have found that if you look in your device manager and under display, if it doesn't say Intel integrated graphics I do not believe this will work even though you have AMT 6.

its specs on hp site shows Intel Integrated Graphics but it shows ATI Mobility Radeon HD 540v in Dispaly adapters (Device manager).

If intel integrated graphics is mandatory for KVM, then I think I cannot do anything except power management of AMT machine.

that's why KVM menu is missing from MBEx?

You're correct, Intel Graphics is required for KVM Remote Control.

You can do other things besides power control. One of my favorite things is IDE Redirection. It allows you to remotly boot a vPro system from a CD or Floppy image file on the network. Serial over LAN will allow you to remotly see text based interfaces like linux, DOS, or BIOS. For GUI based interfaces (which is were KVM really shines) an alternative is to add a VNC server into the image. That way you can still conenct once the recovery image boot. It's not as nice as KVM, but you can still get the job done.

I believe so Muhammad. I have the same issue on my HP 8440p. When ordering I guess I had to be more specific that the right graphics came with the laptop .

I don't think graphics card has anything to do with it. I had a PCI-e graphics in my system

when I noticed there was no KVM option as well. I considered the idea of the graphics card,

so I removed the card and switched to the intergrated graphics. No difference. The system

is a Lenovo ThinkCentre M90 with Intel AMT 6.0.2.1194
