can sr305 and D435i work on Faceshift 2015 ?

today i wanna upgrade the camera and there are 2 options :

1- does it's SDK compatible with sr300 ?

2- honestly i aspire to buy "Depth Camera D435i" because it's depth feature is awesome. but don't know does it work well with faceshift 2015 ?

1. The SR305 is essentially an SR300 in a new casing format that makes it easier to mount the camera. So old applications that worked with SR300 should still work with SR305.

2. Faceshift has no compatibility with the 400 Series cameras such as the D435i because they were released a couple of years after Faceshift's final 2015 version.

i bought and tryed intel sr305 but faceshift doesnt work with that.

i guess sr305 doenst have any driver and it only works with sdk2.0

if you have any suggestion thank you in advance :)

​In regard to your Faceshift question, it had problems even with the SR300 after the 2016 SDK versions. So it may not be a problem with the SR305.

A modern alternative to Faceshift that supports SR300 is FaceRig. There is also a non RealSense version that works with ordinary webcams.​
