Xeon processors and motherboard for QSV encoding

Hello!

I develop mediaserver with h.264 encoding by QSV on Linux. I select motherboard for Xeon E3 processor and received information that only motherboards with C226 chipsets work with Xeon processos and Quick Sync Video. Is it correct? Xeon with moherboard on other chipset does not work with QSV?

Hi Alexey,

You can refer "System Requirements" in page 2 in Release note Linux*. That will tell you which E3 can be supported.
