The Intel Media SDK project is no longer active. For continued support and access to new features, Intel Media SDK users are encouraged to read the transition guide on upgrading from Intel® Media SDK to Intel® Video Processing Library (VPL), and to move to VPL as soon as possible.

Announcing Intel® Media Server Studio 2017, Intel® Video Pro Analyzer 2017, and Intel® Stress Bitstreams and Encoder 2017!

We are proud to announce the release of Intel® Media Server Studio 2017! 

This release provides:

  • Support for Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1500 v5,  Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1200 v5, and Intel® 6th Generation Core™ Processors
  • New Intel® Media SDK features, such as hardware-accelerated HEVC decode/encode, MJPEG encode, and GPU hang reporting/recovery
  • New Intel® SDK for OpenCL™ Applications features including support for the OpenCL™ 2.0 API
