Does MSS 2016 support SKYLAKE CPU?

Media Server Studio 2016 is based on the 16.4 graphics driver in Linux and 15.36 in Windows.  These support 4th and 5th generation Core processors (and some Xeon e3 v3 and Xeon e3 v4) but not Skylake.  To preview Skylake (6th Generation Core) features you can use client Media SDK for Windows.

While it's too early to announce schedules, Skylake support is coming.  (Certainly less than 1 year!)  Thank you for your patience.  This forum is one of the best places to find this kind of info, so please keep reading.
