A starting point for installation on RHEL >=6 -- and any Linux with glibc >= 2.12 -- is covered by our "Generic" install process.  This means using the kernel patches provided for a specific kernel (3.14.5 for our latest release) as well as the libdrm/libva versions included.  It is usually best to build libdrm and libva from the source included in /opt/intel/mediasdk/opensource instead of installing the CentOS rpms for environments that don't match the CentOS "gold" specifications.

However, as with any Generic install, what we provide is a starting point only.  The help we can provide is limited and any issues will need to be reproducible in a "gold" configuration.
