Based on an overwhelming demand from developers like you, Intel is pleased to announce Media for Mobile (M4M) Android libraries are now open sourced and available with complete API codes and samples on GitHub.

M4M brings an innovative approach to media application development by enabling developers to quickly develop and deploy media features across platforms. It was part of the Intel® Integrated Native Developer Experience (Intel® INDE). A few months ago, Intel began offering the Intel INDE tools as separate, standalone downloads instead of a bundled collection. The goal was to make it easier for developers to customize their toolboxes.

Over time, we hope you’ll actively participate in helping us take M4M forward on GitHub. See “how_to_contribute_to_M4M.txt” in the GitHub repository for details.
