Petter Larsson's white paper "Muxing with Intel Media Software Development Kit" is available for download.
Abstract: This article presents a method that can be used to perform muxing of encoded media generated by Intel Media SDK. The article details how to use audio/video codec components part of Intel Integrated Performance Primitives (Intel IPP) samples to create a muxing solution based on the Intel Media SDK sample_encode project.
As always, we are interested in your feedback. We're looking forward to providing more content on Intel Media SDK interoperability, including demux,in the future.
A new white paper on the topic of "Video Conferencing features of Intel Media Software Development Kit" has been published on Intel Visual Computing Source portal here:http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/video-conferencing-features-of-intel-media-software-develop...
The paper explains how to use Media SDK 2012 to develop applications in the context of video conferencing and streaming.

Good news at the tail end of this week.
We just published a new article that we hope will be very useful for developers interested in using Intel Media SDK. The new article present common SDK usages via a quick-start tutorial to help developers get the most traction in the shortest amount of time. The guide shows how to use the Intel Media SDK by walking step-by-step through use case examples from simple to increasingly more complex usages. By understanding key Intel Media SDK use cases, including integration with popular external components, you’ll be up and coding in no time.
The tutorial covers many well established usages but a few new ones like how to integrate Intel Media SDK with FFmpeg to realize full end-to-end media transcode. For a full listing of the code samples covered by the tutorial please navigate to the tutorial index page:
Please let us know what you think. Feedback on this forum is welcome.

I'm reading video conferencing white paper (http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/video-conferencing-features-of-intel-media-software-develop...), and several images are broken (figure-5 and figure-6) . Can somebody ping Intel web team about that?
FFmpeg based muxing's reliability and 24x7 operation should be verified..is there any one who have some quality and reliability feedback for ffmpeg based audio and video muxing after encodeing video only using Media sdk
