I saw #Hardware Requirements on  https://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-media-server-studio/details, I would appreciate recommended specs and more detailed infomation like model name, number (for example: if 6th Generation Intel® Core™ i5 Processors also recommended than which processor graphics better suited ie. Intel® Iris™ Pro Graphics or Intel® Iris™ Graphics )

Hi There,

Different CPU configuration usually get difference performance, the HW select depend on the customer's business requirement.

You can find performance data from https://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-media-server-studio, you also can find the HW configuration for that performance data under the performance data table.

Thanks,

Zachary

Hi Zachary,

Thank you for response. I'm interested in HEVC realtime decode/encode.

For 'performance data' do you mean "Multistream performance: Number of real-time streams" data & Baseline configuration info or do you mean this (https://software.intel.com/sites/default/files/managed/85/7c/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E3-1500-v5-Performance-May-2016.pdf) ?

I am interested in HEVC decode/encode capability (8-bit and 10-bit, Linux & Windows). And hardware-accelerated when applicable.
