Stuttering video playback in Window Media Player

After encoding video, I am seeing stuttering at certain times during playback on Window Media Player. On other players, the playback is fine. Any idea what this could be caused by?

Perhaps some more details could help:

  • Does this happen with all videos or only some?
  • Does your application alter any timestamps?
  • What processor are you running on?  What driver is installed?  What version of Media SDK are you using?
  • Which codec are you using? (AVC, MPEG2, etc.)

Can this behavior be replicated with Creative Commons streams like Big Buck Bunny?  Using the Media SDK samples or tutorials?
