real time encode issue

I use directShow to create a graph for webcam real encode.

i.e

webcam->Intel Encoder->decoder(windows 7 default)->EVR

the renderer display has about 3~5 sec lag.

How can solve this issue ?

Hi acherley,

I need more information to make any kind of logical guess what the problem may be. Have you tried different decoder filters in the chain? Have you tried to configure the decoder to not use any B-frames? Perhaps the encoder has a lock on an encoded frame as its a marked as a reference frame for future frames.
