In regard to your question, yes, the Intel processors will work with Windows® XP without a virtual machine, the processor has not restrictions in regard to the operating system, it should work just fine under any Windows version. However, just to let you know, the motherboard does have a restriction and might not be fully compatible with that operating system, so what we always recommend is to check with the manufacturer of it first to confirm that and also to find out if the proper drivers for that operating system are available.
