Hello. I have brought a Lenovo LOQ 15IRH8 a few months back, and although the temperatures were already a bit high back then, the spikes weren't nearly as bad as now.
When my laptop is idle, a few of the cores sometimes spike to 95C, albeit for like a second, sometimes less.
And when I open a program or anything of that sort, a few of the cores spike so high, it even reaches 100C sometimes. Of course, it doesn't stay that way, only for a second or two majority of the time.
The thermal paste has been reapplied like a few weeks ago, and I also have a cooling pad installed under the laptop.
So, I was wondering if these kinds of spikes are normal? According to the guy whom I gave the laptop to apply the thermal paste, these kinds of temps are normal, and the CPU can apparently hold up to 130C. As such, I've come here to confirm that.
