Hello ThorbenS,
Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.
For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.
- Let me clarify, are you trying to overclock your processor?
- Before that, you are you also having issues with the processor?
- Can you also provide the exact issue that you encounter while trying to optimize the processor?
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Best regards,
Michael L.

Np, so I tried Overclocking my processore for the first time, bc i run into a problem in a rlly cpu heavy game (Borderland 4), before that ive never had any issues with my cpu.
So what i did is looking up in YT how do overclock my CPU using XTU.
For that i disabled the coreisolation for windows security and enabled something in the Bios to run XTU.
In the program itself i only ran a benchmark test and than i decided to run auto Optimizition.
After that i saw that 47x p-core (36x before) was active, and i allready knew that this would prob. cause a heat problem, i treid reducing that somehow but how u can see in the screenshot i can bc every important setting is greyed out.
I even tried going in Borderland and right at the start i hitted 96° so i closed it right away, i also tried:
Reinstalling,
Setting my XTU profile to Default,
Turning Coreisolation on again,
Deactivating the 1 setting in bios again,
But i still cant redo the 4,6GHz change from XTU, and idk what exactly to change in my Bios to redo it there too, i tried looking for the option there fo maybe change it again but i didnt found it, also idk if i can set the wolt setting etc from XTU back to normal (The ble linea in the screenshot) bc idk if thats safe if i cant also set my active P-Cores back to ig 36x (3,6Ghz).
I hope that helps u understand my Problem more, if u got any more Questions feel free to ask
