During which date this happened? And after which date the manufacturing issues were resolved? It would have been even better if we could see the affected batch numbers.

"We all know that the 14th and 13th gen Intel CPUs had instability issues which were partially fixed by microcode updates. However, there was also a manufacturing issue that causes oxidation and degradation of the chips over time. During which date this happened? And after which date the manufacturing issues were resolved. It would have been even better if we could see the affected batch numbers."
We have created a report in February 2024, and we acknowledge that we have this issue.
The Via Oxidation issue currently reported in the press is a minor one that was addressed with manufacturing improvements and screens in early 2023. The issue was identified in late 2022, and with the manufacturing improvements and additional screens implemented Intel was able to confirm full removal of impacted processors in our supply chain by early 2024. However, on-shelf inventory may have persisted into early 2024 as a result.
Minor manufacturing issues are an inescapable fact with all silicon products. Intel continuously works with customers to troubleshoot and remediate product failure reports and provides public communications on product issues when the customer risk exceeds Intel quality control thresholds.
Intel Core 13th and 14th generation desktop processors affected by the Via Oxidation issue display similar symptoms to processors affected by the elevated voltage related Vmin Shift Instability issue, including OS and application hangs and errors.
Intel recommends users adhere to the relevant Intel Default Settings for their Intel Core 13th and/or 14th Gen desktop processors, and ensure they are running with the latest BIOS for their systems. Users can check their system/motherboard manufacturer’s website and/or the Intel Product Compatibility Tool to see the latest BIOS versions for their Intel Core 13th and/or 14th Gen-powered desktop systems: https://compatibleproducts.intel.com/.
Customers experiencing instability symptoms on 13th and 14th Gen desktop processors should contact their system manufacturer, or in the case of a boxed processor, please contact Intel Customer Support.
We do not have specific batch for the affected units however, kindly check the table below for the list of affected products for the instability issue:
