Hello, my CPU is I7 13700kf and when idling , the cpu core voltage is having this behaviour and i want to know if it is safe or there is something going on. I noticed these spikes and dropping in cpu core voltage in XTU , but when under load the voltage is stable and constant. See attached screenshot.

Hello Jose B. ,
I've started monitoring on my newer cpu since i had a failure on the previous i7 13700kf on about 6 months lifespan (maybe due to the heat issue or motherboard power drawing set to unlimited by default). I basically rebought the cpu and im starting to monitor the cpu data. I haven't made any software changes, but ive disabled e-cores in order to run the CPU cooler . Here's the files attached:

Hello Savaai
Thank you for the information provided.
According to the Intel SSU report, we noticed that the BIOS is not up to date, please update it. You can download it from here: F9
After that, please monitor again and share a new screenshot of the Intel XTU, in order to check for any improvement.
Best regards,

Here's the new files with updated bios. In the attached the screenshot, I've noticed that the CPU keeps spiking and dropping voltages and frequency in idle even with updated bios. Hope it helps to troubleshoot , if it is a problem in the first place.

Hello Savaai
Thank you for patiently waiting.
Based on the information collected so far, your Intel® Core™ i7-13700KF Processor is working as expected. There is no specific value for the processor to operate, it will fluctuate based on the workload.
Also, by checking the reports, your CPU passed, and the system is now up to date. Could you confirm if you are experiencing any kind of BSOD, crash or unexpected shutdown?
Best regards,
Jose B.

Hello Jose ,
thank you for your support. I didn' t experience any kind BSOD, crash or shutdown even with the previous i7 13700KF. The last CPU failed and never turned on and not having any cause to its death really made me investigating the CPU.
Again, thank you for your support Jose.
