My PC recently got a lot slower than it used to be and when i checked my Cpu i saw that one core was performing lower than the other core

Picture:

I was wondering if this is normal or if this means my CPU is broken,

I restarted my computer a couple of times with the same results only core 0 had the lower Mhz

Hello themerski,

For troubleshooting purposes you may want to make sure you have the latest BIOS version of your motherboard installed in order to have loaded the latest micro code available for your processor.

Also, you can run the Intel® Processor Identification Utility to make sure the processor s being properly recognized. Please find the Intel® Processor Identification Utility at: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=7838 http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=7838

Furthermore, please run the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool which will verify your processor's functionality: http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-031726.htm http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-031726.htm

If the issue persists after the previous, please proceed contacting your local customer support group during business hours for further assistance: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/contactsupport http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/contactsupport?
