Hi all!
This is my first post here and hope someone can give me some insight.
I recently bought this laptop: HP 14-dq2518la, with the intention to immediately ramp up the RAM. Factory at 4GB. HP cx services is telling me that its max upgrade is 16GB; Memorystock.com is suggesting 64GB; and upon searching the processor on the Intel site, also max at 64GB.
So, my question is: Are there other factors here that I´m unaware of that could be limiting to 16 by HP OR can I just take the RAM to the amount I want? I may not buy 64GB; maybe a little excessive for this laptop and for what I need it for but, it would be great to know what I can do with it...
Thanks in advance, and hope to hear from someone soon who´s much more knowledgeable than myself.

Listen to HP. It is their laptop. And, while the processor may support 64GB, the HP design may limit you.
