hi. I decided to change my lab server CPU from AMD to Intel.
Please recommend a CPU that does not cause a CPU bottleneck when upgrading the current server specifications and upgrade.
Currently, the server is performing deep learning related to 3D computer vision (e.g. Visual SLAM, Point Cloud Registration, etc.).
Current GPU device options are upgradeable to GPUs of the same family or RTX4090 or later. RAM will also be upgraded if needed.
Server specifications are as follows:
GPU: RTX 3090 * 4
RAM: 256GB
Power supply: 2000W + 2500W

Hello, minwoo,
Thank you for reaching Intel Communities. I will gladly help you.
A recommended processor depends on the software and hardware developers' combined requirements, and also you need to confirm with your motherboard manufacturer if the processor your prefer is validated for the system.
I suggest you to follow the next link to do an advanced search on Intel processors so you can filter by a combination of requirements and find a suitable recommendation: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/search/featurefilter.html
Best regards,
Allan
