Intel i7-3770K warranty?

Hi guys,

I recently built my own system and everything was going great for the last month, but a few days ago my system just shut off and it appears that my PSU was faulty and died. I sent it back to Corsair to be RMA'd but I've been fearing that it may have damaged my CPU or Motherboard.

I was just wondering if anyone would have any idea that if it is damaged, would this be covered by the warranty?

It may not be damaged, I won't know until I get a new PSU, but no harm in asking eh.

Have you check if your processor was physically damaged? If the issue persists with the replacement power supply, please contact us at 916-377-7000 to better assist you on this matter.
