I understand you would like to know if the Intel® Xeon® Processor D Family are suitable for video editing. I will be more than glad to assist you with this inquiry. Bear in mind that the Intel® Xeon® Processor D Family do not come with a graphics controller so it will be required to install a discrete video card. So if I put a 16-core Intel xeon D cpu family and insert a GTX 1070 or 1080 video card from Nvidia or AMD will work great.
