Memory Errors with Asus P8Z68-V Pro Gen3 and Intel i7-2600

Hello,

I'm having troubles with my system. I'm getting memory errors on slot 0, also after swapping memory in slot 0 and slot 2 or slot 0 and slot 1. So memory is ok, but maybe the board or the cpu is defect.

Where is the memory-controller located? In the board, or in the cpu?
