NEED HELP ASAP! c2d e8400 at 4.5ghz voltage prob. running hot on air.

hi i have a c2d e8400 and it is running at 4.5ghz i cant get the voltage right and im running it on a asus p5e3 pro mobo i also dont know what to do with the cpu pll voltage its running at 50c idle

Hi!

I confirm the Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo Desktop Processor E8400 is 3 GHz.; see the following URL:

Hence, I'd recommend running the system with the BIOS default settings and/or updating the BIOS to the most current version. For this, please, contact Asus.
