P4 processor speed displays slow in bios

I had an older computer with an Pentium P4, 3.2 Ghz cpu. I bought an INTEL MB D945GCNL and installed some memory, the CPU and fan.

Looking at specs within the BIOS utility it says that I have a 2.93 Ghz cpu installed. Is this normal?
