My pc suddenly would post. CPU and dram lights are. Fans and rgb is on so I took out cpu and found that my cooler had come with two plastic covers and I had only removed one but the pc worked for 2 years without issues and the temps were fairly stable. I removed cover reapplied thermal paste but no change. pc won’t even give me any sound signals for errors. How do I diagnose this I assume rn it’s either motherboard or cpu

You do know that your processor does not have graphics, correct?

Yes I am aware but after trouble shooting I am fairly sure my 3060 ti isn’t the issue so I need to figure out if the cpu is fried or if it’s the mother board is there any way to do that?

Try a different video card, a different motherboard, or different cpu, and even a different power supply.

@BALTDJUR

Is your PC switching on, right?

Unplug  power cable  from SMPS .Remove  CMOS battery and wait for 5 minutes and reinsert try to boot.

Replace  cmos battery with a new one. Does your motherboard have built-in speaker. If not inset PC motherboard speaker

I tried removing and changing the battery but I didn’t leave it out for more than a minute tops so I’ll try taking it out for a bit longer
