Pentium 4 3GHz vs Pentium T3200 Dual Core 2 GHz

Hi out there,

This might sound like a ridiculous question/discussion, but I would really like to know which one of the above processors is faster in terms of working with graphics like Photoshop or even After Effects. I know, that the graphics engine is also important but I want to compare processor speed only, please.

The processors are build in the following machines: Toshiba P20 Notebook with 3 GB RAM, this is the P4-machine and Compaq CQ60-150EG with 3 GB RAM, this is the T3200-machine.
