I have an i7-13700k and a GTX 460TI with 32 GB of RAM on an Aorus B760M Elite AX motherboard.

I have this VRAM problem in Marvel Rivals. And crashes to Desktop with Star Citizen, Helldivers 2 and Dark and Darker.

Issues I've never had before September (when I started having crashes in Star Citizen)

I'm notech-savvy and my knowledge on Hardware is user lvl at most, and I don't know what the problem is or how to fix it.

As far as I know (I use GCC Gigabyte Control Center) bios is up-to-date, all drivers are updated.... But I can't play.

I experienced this issue for the first time playing Marvel Rivals.  I resolved the issue by running the application in compatibility mode.  I'm on Windows 11.  I have it set to Windows 8 compatibility.  After doing this, I haven't experienced any issues.  Save yourself the trouble of going to BIOS and tweaking your hardware.  If you don't know how to activate compatibility mode on your system, a quick google search will provide instructions.

This forum was linked to inside Marvel Rivals. I didn’t solve YOUR problem but if anyone else who plays that game solves their issue by using my steps then I will have saved them time. Good luck with your issue.

Bryan I think you should seek counseling, get a life, find a greater purpose, stop playing video games, or any other more productive things than attacking a stranger who took the time to offer a solution to a problem. You can ignore my post. But it’s abundantly clear that you are a pathetic human. I am sad for you, sincerely.

you didn't provide any solution, i'm making sure anyone who comes along understands that anything you say from this point forward should just be ignored. but that's ok, intel confirms that the CPUs were getting way too much voltage causing massive degradation in said CPUs but YES! TURNING ON COMPATIBILITY MODE WILL MAKE ALL THAT EXTRA VOLTAGE DISAPPEAR! unbelievable the people that have less than zero knowledge in anything tech STILL will have the audacity to reply to a post with a solution as dumb as this. un. real.

The new Nvidia driver that is for all and the 50 series screwed something up. I reverted and it will not run rivals at all. My Intel chip worked fine before. IT ISN'T  AN INTEL ISSUE. Its the new driver from nvidia

Idk. I started having this problem a couple months ago with Star Citizen. If it was an Nvidia Driver wouldn't it be fixed by now?

After months of troubleshouting BSOD, freezes and crashes; for me the fix was to disable Turbo via ThrottleStop (works with all UE5 games i tested, Marvel Rivals inclued).

I suggest that you contact Intel support and work with them to help you RMA this CPU. You most likely have bad cores and it will only get worse. Disabling normal features of the CPU to have it function is not a solution.

If there are WHEA 19 errors in Windows Event Viewer, then this is a smoking gun your cores have degraded.

Assuming you have not done any overclocking of course. This can also happen if you are running an out-of-date BIOS.

BIOS is updated to the last update. And I can’t RMA this CPU, I need a working computer, this gonna take at least one month i’m in France. I will check on Amazon if there is any warranty.

It says overclocking is disabled in this device and I have literally tried everything I found and nothing has worked out for me till now, this game crashes all the freaking time and I am not able to play this game at all, when overclocking is disabled what am i supposed to do??

Processor: Intel i9 13th gen

Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce Rtx 4070

Tell me some resolution which will actually work, none of the other FPS games crashes except this dumb game, Marvel Rivals.

Hey mate,

Have you tried instructions on this page https://www.marvelrivals.com/m/guide/20241114/41348_1193677.html

If nothing works from that page, I suggest you get in touch with whomever built your system or if you built it yourself, contact Intel support and state your issue, they will get you to collect some logs and if CPU confirmed faulty, they will replace under warranty.

Good luck.
