Weird Power Limit Problem With 14700k and Asus Maximus Z790

i'm on the latest BIOS with intel default settings.

i've never seen this only after enabling secure boot.

if secure boot is enabled somehow my CPU exceeding 253 watts as you can see in screenshot.

as you can see maximum package power is 262watts but i've seen 271watts as well..this happens only when secure boot is enabled

before secure boot it never exceeded 253 watts in any benchmarks.

any ideas why this could happen?

Did you do recent changes with the system?

Have you performed other troubleshooting steps?

What is the motherboard BIOS version currently installed.

 

If possible, I suggest trying another motherboard just to isolate this behavior
