I have an i5 14400f and it never reaches higher amounts of GHz.
As you can see in the print, it does not exceed 4ghz.
By stressing the CPU, it goes up to a maximum of 3.9 GHz
Why is that? can I do something?
I had an i3 12100f, and also the same thing, it didn't go above 4ghz, it never reached the boost clock.
NOTE: something is activated in the bios, my processor never works at the base frequency, it always works at 3.9 to 4.1 ghz
NOTE 2: I would like to see my processor running around 4.5 to 4.7 GHz in games to get more performance out of it.
My configuration:
MOTHERBOARD: B660M-P MSI
VIDEO CARD: RTX 4060 TI 8GB
16GB DDR4 CL16 RAM
TEMPERATURES ARE BALANCED

Hello,
I understand that you'd like the processor to reach its maximum frequency. I'd like you to know that processors do no run on the maximum frequency all the time and it will depend on the workload that is being processed by the system. Also, there are a lot of factors on why your processor is not reaching its maximum frequency.
You may refer to the links below for more information:
My Intel® Core™ Processor Does Not Reach the Maximum Turbo Boost Frequency
What Is Intel® Turbo Boost Technology?
For me to further investigate whether there's any issues with your processors, please run the tests below and share the results.
1. Run Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool
2. Generate SSU report - How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*
I look forward to your response.
